They had technology to send some into space in stasis, not knowing if any would ever reach another world. It was a last attempt to preserve the history of this world.

B is a planet that was much like current Earth when it received a stasis tube from A. The information accompanying the tube inspired a movement on B to change their world's path. Knowledge of Planet A transformed Planet B. The history of A was preserved on B. B transitioned to a sustainable existence. Eventually B revives the person from A. Hijinks ensue, maybe. Maybe touching moments.

C is our planet. Now. The above story was received in transmissions...
hr
I'm trying to write a #solarpunk story. The most comfortable place for me to write is online. It is a big mess and probably will be for a very long time, if not forever.
<![CDATA[The primary purpose of this blog's recent reorganization is to designate multiple spaces for me to work towards separate goals.
!--more--
I have never written any long-term projects and I'm making everything up as I go. There are other writing tools I've seen recommended lately — specifically https://novelwriter.io/features.html and https://obsidian.md/ — but for now I'm choosing blogging. Much like the best camera being the phone you have on you the best writing tool may be the one I'm already using. I can quickly switch from my general blogging habit over to a parallel site reserved for a designated purpose and just keep writing.

As this space is for general purpose I will sometimes cross post what I'm working on elsewhere. I want to envision a future that's hopeful and put it in writing. The dream goal would be to produce a #solarpunk novel. I do not have the writing space for this project set up yet. Here is what I wrote for this project last night:

hr
To start a business a decision-making body is empowered, consisting of equal parts capitalists and disinterested citizens of the proposed operating zone. The more zones in which one seeks to operate the more citizen partnerships must be established. The largest corporations are the least concentrated. The citizen partners are budgeted to hire contract with scientific experts and labor representatives

This is what directly inspired the above:
https://mastodon.social/@bacchus1234/111962311999500273
https://www.delish.com/food/a46625028/restaurant-menu-design-you-pay-more/

And this is what I posted:
https://mastodon.art/@RMiddleton/111962630384075044
Dreaming up alternative corporations with control divided into equal thirds: the capitalists, the workers, and citizens representing the area of operations. The citizen third would be empowered to hire scientific experts & consider long-term effects. The labor third would protect the health & safety of workers. If the capitalist owners wish to operate in multiple locations their % goes down as additional citizens & labor shares are added, making the largest corps the least centrally controlled.

Thinking about the transition period, when the capitalists revolt bc they're used to the way things are now.
Govt says: Oh sure you can either walk away or continue doing what you have done for as long as you can. Govt contracts will preference new corporations, workers at new corps will get tuition and health care paid for, and many increased benefits. You are free to operate within current rules except that regulations will increase. Resources are allocated. New corps are higher in the chain

Up until the change (due to new social media network and or the message from outer space and or the stasis capsule) the system was adversarial harming everyone and seemed frozen in place.
The arguments were between complete laissez faire capitalism and complete government control seizure at the end of a gun.

Book organization:
Rough rough -- pinned post

Outline -- pp
I've never written a novel

Stake holders
hr

My plan is to maintain separate blog writing spaces for my main projects.

I am choosing to write about a potential positive future in order to give myself hope. I've never understood living in a society with adversarial relationships between corporations and employees, between corporations and customers, between short term profit and long term survival. It feels like human nature because it's systemic. I believe other ways are possible, and that it's up to art to dream these things up.

markNote:/mark I feel terrible.

The primary purpose of this blog's recent reorganization is to designate multiple spaces for me to work towards separate goals.

To start a business a decision-making body is empowered, consisting of equal parts capitalists and disinterested citizens of the proposed operating zone. The more zones in which one seeks to operate the more citizen partnerships must be established. The largest corporations are the least concentrated. The citizen partners are budgeted to hire contract with scientific experts and labor representatives

This is what directly inspired the above:
https://mastodon.social/@bacchus1234/111962311999500273
