This WriteFreely blog does not use the same code as the original one on my website because this blog is provided by dotart.blog. Because dotart.blog is part of mastodon.art, their following copyright policy applies:

All original content is copyrighted by the artist and cannot be distributed or used without prior permission by the artist. Do not repost or disseminate our artist's original content anywhere without their express permission.

Additionally, the untilted.lol terms of service may or may not partially/wholly apply. For instance, all my art is licensed under various Creative Commons licenses, most notably the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives License for most of my art.

While I do not always explicitly indicate this, all my social media posts are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License unless otherwise stated. Additional terms may apply.

Acceptable Use

This WriteFreely blog is governed by the Acceptable Use & Communications Policy posted on the untilted.lol website. By engaging with this blog you agree to comply with that policy.

If you have a comment you'd like to share with me regarding any of my blog posts, feel free to privately message me about it either on Mastodon or email.

Social Media Acceptable Use & Communications Policy

Specifically for Mastodon, I manually review follow requests and choose whether to accept or reject new followers (hence the padlock 🔒 icon next to my username) due to spam concerns. Anyone is free to follow me and interact with me, as long as they keep in mind these guidelines:

  1. Engaging with me means you agree to the Acceptable Use & Communications Policy posted on the untilted.lol website. (note: I also have a similar but informal version of this called the Boundaries Policy at my personal weblog, but you are not necessarily legally obliged to follow literally every single word of it, I'm not that big of a litigious control freak)

  2. I will address any misinterpretations regarding me and/or what I've posted directly without deflecting responsibility. That said, assuming the worst about people without evidence is off-limits. If your behavior escalates to extreme measures, you may find yourself reported.

  3. No unsolicited subjective input (including but not limited to: advice, opinions, suggestions, anecdotes, and bad-faith critiques of my reasoning) unless I explicitly ask for it. Example: pressuring me to engage more is strongly discouraged. If I'm inactive, I'm most likely busy or not feeling it.

  4. I reserve the right to mute/block anyone for any reason, regardless of relationship level. I also reserve the right to reject follow requests for any reason. I also reserve the right to block domains/servers (though this is technically more of a mute than a full block, as users like me cannot fully block/defederate from servers unless they request to their instance's admin to do so for their instance)

  5. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE ACCEPTABLE USE AND COMMUNICATIONS POLICY, YOU MAY NOT INTERACT WITH ME.

All other social media sites: Same rules apply, except not every social media platform allows me to manually approve followers.

Privacy

This WriteFreely blog is subject to dotart.blog/mastodon.art privacy policy.

Social Media Content Deletion Policy

Specifically for Mastodon, due to the nature of Mastodon's federation, among other things, I reserve the right to delete any of my own posts at any time for any personal reason. Particularly, I may delete content I consider to be outdated, irrelevant, or impractical to keep around. For instance, I may delete announcements of new comics that have been released in order for me to feel like my posting history isn't being bogged down by info that may have been updated substantially since the post was made.

Posts are automatically deleted after 2 months (that's usually around 60 days). Exceptions include posts I have pinned and posts I have bookmarked (though unlike with other social media platforms, this info as to whether I have bookmarked/saved a post is not made public on Mastodon. However if a post remains on my posting history, it usually means I have either pinned or bookmarked it). I may manually delete certain posts myself as well for any reason.

However, due to how federation works on the fediverse, I recognize that some cached posts I may have already deleted may remain on other fediverse instances and that this may be out of my control. In this case, it is strongly recommended to click on my Mastodon profile (if available on your server's side), click on the three dots, and click the option where it says “Open original page/View on mastodon.art”.

I reserve the right to change this policy at any given time and will let everyone know about it through Mastodon and/or untilted.status.lol.

For other sites I'm on, the same may apply, though not every site has automatic post deletion or guaranteed deletion at all.

Liability

Aside from the liabilities stated on my website's terms of service, I would like to write out a few informal limitations of liability:

I am the sole operator of untilted.lol and this blog. Because everything here is run entirely by me, I acknowledge that I am personally responsible for all decisions and actions I make and take. However, my ability to engage with individuals, groups, and/or communities may be limited by whatever situational, psychological, financial, and/or other constraints I may be currently struggling to work with. As a consequence, I shall not be held liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage that may arise from my inability (or failure) to interact with, respond to, or support any specific person, community, or organization (provided that such failure is not the result of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, although I understand that I cannot always accurately assess this on my own).

I shall also not be held liable for any errors in spelling, grammar, etc. I may make during the writing process.
