Introduction
Hello! My name is Dani and I am a visual environment and concept artist. You can find my portfolio here and my Mastodon account here
I intend to use this space to share the knowledge I've gained as well as just rambling in general. I would also love to get back into creative writing (narrative isn't my strong suit but I'd love to improve)
In general the goal of my work is to create a sense of wonder and exploration. I want viewers to look at my pieces and wonder what's around the corner, and wish they could explore the worlds I portray themselves. I'm primarily inspired by Monster Hunter, Guild Wars, From Software, Nausicaa, and yes, Bionicle. Basically if there's a series with a world that leaves a lot up to the imagination, but is still dense with world building and a sense of adventure, that's the kind of media I love.
I'm looking forward to posting more here, and hopefully someone comes along and enjoys the kind of content I post :)
