Lori's monologue about her initial plans for a winter vacation in Switzerland, as well as her outdoor-loving pen pal from Interlaken.

It was absolutely sickening. In fact, I went on an interstellar voyage when I had my out-of-body experience at night. I just... Cannot even deal with the current events around me.

Darn it… I just want a three-month vacation in Switzerland. I could possibly pull a Tina Turner, except I would lose either my mother’s or father’s citizenship. Either way, I need to spend some time abroad to calm my nerves.

Thankfully, I have a pen pal from Interlaken who loves the outdoors as much as I do. That pal of mine is Gabi Hoelzle. Although her real name is Gabriela, her nickname sounds more interesting. That nickname reminds me of the night time, but with a gender-neutral twist.

Gabi is blessed with alpine nature, so she gets to hike the Swiss Alps and traverse the two lakes in her free time. She also enjoys cycling at Höhematte Park, where she can glance at the arborous mountains around her hometown.

For the meantime, I will probably stay at Gabi’s bungalow, where I can have enough space for leisurely couchsurfing and creative pursuits. I am so excited to meet that lifesize gothic lolita doll in person!

I just need to escape the American Dream for around three months. See you again, California…
