Origin Summoned from a Gate of Imagination from Planes Trains and Automobiles Candy was the result of Del Griffith being fused with not just John Franklin Candy but every role played from SCTV skits, cameos as minor as the Ghostbuster's music video, and animated appearances. All of them up until his tragic death. After so many contradictory lives slammed in an imaginary depressed man, along with the existential crisis of whether real or was actually dead or dying, Jumper was forced to do a full mind crush. He blended the identities and made a new more basic consciousness to act as the “pilot” for the amalgamated psyche.
