Getting Started
Good afternoon! I took a chance on setting up a blog here to go along with my .art account, as I feel like I may be able to use this space to better talk about my writing, and my webcomic.
For my webcomic: I’m four months into a scifantasy webcomic! This comic has been bubbling away in my brain for something like twenty years and I finally decided to just Do The Thing in August 2022, and started publishing in September 2022. I’ll talk about the world building, the characters, my creation and design process, my inspirations and so on.
For my writing: I’m actually also working on a contemporary British rural fantasy novel, which if I get it going properly may turn into a whole series. This features the hidden world of mythical, magical and legendary creatures, set in roughly our current world and time. Again, I’ll talk about the world building, the characters, my creation and design process, my inspirations and so on.
For my other writing: I also do accessibility and opinion article writing, so I’ll do some of that here too. In my day job, I actually work in accessibility, primarily digital and visual, with a healthy dose of Neurodiversity and Plain English. So accessibility may be the more common article I write!
Otherwise, my handle may say Ama Baggins, but my name is Aitch! For those who don’t know me over at .art, I’m a non-binary trans man, I’m autistic and ADHD, and can get a little chaotic as a result.
